The Don Strange Ranch Adventure Challenge Course offers many different Program Types that are designed to target and generate a desired result from the particular group which is being accommodated.  There are Professional Development, Recreational, Scholastic, and Therapeutic program types available.

 8Professional Development
DSRACC's professional development programs provide organizations with Experience-Based Training and Development (EBTD). This methodology is a learner-centered approach to human resource development and organizational change. Rather than presenting information in a teacher-expert context, DSRACC uses EBTD to create situations which invite participants to discover their own answers to challenging business issues.

Custom designing each program for the client, a professional development program can be held at our ranch in Waring, Texas, taken to the workplace, or even conducted at an alternate setting. Our programs are designed as a means to unite a professional team and strengthen each team member's personal communication, leadership, problem solving, and decision making skills while developing trust for these skills in the rest of the team. This new found trust only helps the team perform better under pressure when placed back in the workplace. These custom programs can range from simple team working and problem solving activities to GPS scavenger hunts for corporate outings, but no two programs are the same. DSRACC welcomes the opportunity to design a program that will fit your group's goals and objectives. Aimed at improving performance and motivation, a recreational package will include a variety of high and low ropes challenges and initiatives that improve skills in communication, problem solving, trust, teamwork, leadership, and personal effectiveness. By following the Ropes Course Activities link a few examples and explanations of some of the types of activities that we offer are provided.  Please note that DSRACC does requires a minimum of 12 participants for each program.  8Scholastic
Aimed at public and private school groups, DSRACC offers a variety of educational programs that enhance students interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.  Realizing the uniqueness of each group, DSRACC finds it necessary to customize each program in accordance with the needs and constraints of each independent school group. No school group is too large or too small and teachers may or may not participate depending on the program desired  To learn more about our scholastic programs, please fill out our Online Interest Form.
 8Thereputic
DSRACC is very unique in the sense that it can accommodate both able and disabled bodies.  DSRACC is very excited about fully utilizing this universal ability.  By working closely with RIOSA (Rehabilitation Institute of San Antonio) the staff of DSRACC is gaining a deeper understanding of the needs and benefits ropes courses offer the disabled population.
"The Alpine Tower II offers a variety of challenges and group problem solving events suitable for any group, but the real magic of the concept comes alive when people with and without disabilities come together, as a team, to tackle the challenges of the Tower experience. The end result assures everyone a deeper understanding of the individual needs and cultural differences that exist among us all" (Alpine Towers, Inc.).
